The Open Deck: A Workshop for the Tarot & Oracle Curious

The Open Deck: A Workshop for the Tarot & Oracle Curious

You bought the deck. Maybe more than one.

You’ve pulled cards on quiet mornings or late at night when you can't sleep, flipped through guidebooks, maybe even journaled a few spreads—but something keeps getting in the way.

Maybe you’re afraid you’re not doing it “right.”
Maybe you don’t trust what’s coming through.
Or maybe you’ve just been too busy holding everything together to make space for your own intuition.

The Open Deck is a soft landing place. An invitation to step away from the noise for a couple of hours, sit with your cards, and come home to yourself—gently, without pressure, and in the company of others doing the same.

Whether you work with tarot or oracle decks—or you’re not even sure of the difference—this is a welcoming, beginner-friendly, soul-deep kind of space. This is a space to:

  • chat about using tarot and oracle decks as practical tools for every day life
  • ask questions about divination
  • connect with your own inner knowing through the cards
  • let go of “getting it right” and focus on what feels true

No prior experience is needed. This is not a workshop about memorizing meanings or perfecting technique. It’s about learning to trust the way your cards speak to you.

We'll gather in the warm, welcoming space at Ninth Wave Arts in Carp—surrounded by trees, art, and good company. There will be tea. There will be laughter. There will be permission to show up just as you are—card loving, curious, or cautious.

Please bring:

  • A tarot or oracle deck you love (or a few, if you’re torn)
  • A notebook or journal
  • Your questions, hesitations, or half-begun conversations with your deck

Loaner decks will be available if you don’t have one yet or want to try something new.

This isn’t about becoming a professional reader or finally getting “good enough.” It’s about remembering that your way of knowing is already enough—and that your cards can be a partner in that remembering.

We keep the circle small so there’s space for everyone to be seen and heard.
If you’re feeling the pull, trust that. Come take a seat at the table.

And, if you're feeling called to go deeper and have a full reading, I'm offering 1-1 tarot readings right after the workshop.
